En plus de permettre les échanges d'informations dans le suivi des chevaux, il devrait permettre aux maréchaux d'établir un « état des lieux » (ou plutôt des chevaux) pour les patients qui leur sont confiés. Des fiches qui pourraient se révéler fort utiles par la suite en cas de changement d'état ou simplement pour documenter les évolutions dans la morphologie ou la santé de leurs chevaux.
